POWER SOLUTION helps Siegfried migrate the PI System infrastructure to a new domain and manage the configuration of the new one. The biggest challenge we face in industries such as the pharmaceutical sector is that any change—no matter how minor it may seem—must be documented and validated due to its impact on the entire production chain. After the acquisition of the plant, Siegfried needed to disconnect from a previous system that they were using and deploy a new infrastructure. POWER SOLUTION checked all the PI System configurations so as not to lose any functionality and migrate all the data history. The most significant benefit we can highlight for the client is that POWER SOLUTION successfully migrated the PI System infrastructure to the new domain without losing any of the functionality available in the old domain or compromising its availability, given that there was a deadline after which the client could no longer remain connected to the previous system.
